Skiing in the Dolomites Mountains
Keen skiers and boarders will love the endless pistes of The Dolomites. You can take on the Sella Ronda ski circuit or the even more challenging "WW1 Tour" (100km). Beginners have a great choice of blues and the slopes directly above the chalet are some of the quietest in the area. It is possible to return to the chalet via an off-piste track.
There are 10 snow parks and 2 half pipes within reach of the chalet and the closest, the Belvedere/Canazei park offers, jumps, rails, boardercross and an airbag which is popular for those who want to practice their backflips. Even if you don't want to get airbourne it's a great spot to watch the experts.
Access to the slopes is a short walk or free bus ride (the stop is 250 meters away from the chalet) to either the Ciampac cableway in Alba or the Canazei/Pecol gondola taking you directly to the Sella Ronda. Canazei's home run arrives back at the edge of the village.
