Meet Marty & Victoria
We (Victoria and Marty) met when we worked together in a chalet during a ski season in Baqueira-Beret in the Spanish Pyrenees. We discovered that we shared passion for the mountains and for food - Marty loves to create fantastic dishes and Victoria loves tasting them!
After another season together in a La Plagne ski chalet, we decided to channel our experience and enthusiasm into our own chalet company by putting all the best aspects of what we had learnt into practise. We love what we do and we hope that it shows - from our fine dining to sharing our love of the mountains with our guests and friends.
In 2010, we were thrilled to be shortlisted for the Times Chalet Chef competition and we will carry on working on and testing out a great selection of new menus for the upcoming season.
In our 4th season, we were excited to be branching out into the Italian Dolomites, with a new chalet in Alba di Canazei. We listened to our guests - they loved the service and the affordability that they receive in Bansko but they are keen to try bigger resorts and more pistes, so we found the most extensive area in Europe that we could - 1200km of Superski Dolomiti!
We had a great season in both resorts and are looking forward to the upcoming Winter where we will be splitting our time between Bulagaria and Italy again.
