Climbing in Bansko

There are a number of rock climbing sites in and around Bansko, with the most impressive being the North wall of Vihren peak with 7 or 8 routes available with a length of up to 13 ropes.

The peaks can be climbed at any time during the year but the best months are from June to Spetember and on clear days you can see Mount Olympus in Greece, over 300km away.

Guides and courses are available for all climbers from complete beginners to advanced and are also available in Greece.
