Horse Riding and Pony Trekking in Bansko
Bulgaria has an excess of open land and quiet lanes, perfect for horse riding. From 1 hour riding lessons to day long treks and overnight rides, the Dvorene stables can tailor make a horse riding holiday to meet your needs.
The stables are based in Razlog, just 5 minutes drive from Bansko and each local ride has amazing views of the Pirin mountains. The Haflinger horses are originally from the Tyrolean mountains and as a result the horses are very agile and sure footed. With their gentle and friendly temperament they will make your horse riding experience in Bansko unforgettable.
Confident riders can go trekking for 25 Leva per hour or itinery's for multi-day trips can be made up for you. Lunch stops at picnic areas or at out of the way taverns are always popular. Beginners are welcome to have lessons in the outdoor arena and after a few hours will normally be confident enough to go for a gentle trek through the countryside.
If you bring your own hat, please ensure that it complies with European standards. Riding hats and boots are provided at the stables but you will also need a pair of jodphurs or leggings/long trousers and some gloves.
