Over the last few summers, over 300 km of mountain biking trails have been marked out and mapped in the mountains above Bansko and Dobrinishte and for the 3rd year running 'The Road to Nowhere' Bansko Mountain Biking Rally took place on the 31st July 2010.

The rally is open to all and has a series of timed mountain bike rides; more info and route maps can be found at IskarTours or on the rally facebook page.

The ski lifts in both Bansko and Dobrinishte are open through out the Summer so easy access to a range of downhill mountain biking trails is guaranteed.

As the terrain can be quite rough in the local area, we recommend that your mountain bike is fully serviced before your holiday and that you bring spare parts (brake pads, cables and spokes etc). We also suggest a drink system of at least 2 litres and sunscreen as it can get quite sunny during Summer in Bansko.

If you need to hire a mountain bike, we recommend the Diamondback Response that are available locally for 25 leva per day. If you do require one of these bikes, please book early as they are very popular.
